What Colour?

So, as you saw on Friday I had finished my new t-shirt octopus design. I am just about to submit that crazy Octo to Threadless for some judging *fingers crossed*. But I really want to know what colour tee I should throw it on to! Hmmmmmmmmmm will you, Gibberish readers help me decide? Here is some templates I have splated my design on. Bare in mind though that the actual shade of colour of the final tee might not exactly match that of these. It is just a guide to show you what the design may look like.

Oh some of 'em look great so it is gonna be difficult to think up what colour I would like to submit it to Threadless as! I think it is down to you lot :). It's gonna be an interesting week me thinks! Toodles!!

Octopus T -Shirt Design Finished!

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

OK wow it is late Gibberish readers for this Friday's blog post but as you can see it is in all good reason! Just this very moment I have finally finished my brand new Jak Gibberish t-shirt design and I am itching to get on with this here typing so I can show it to you all! This new design will prob go up on different t-shirt sites I think like Threadless and so on! I hope they like it and all that jazz! So, tell me what yer think of this here finished piece!

Octopus Bubbles!

Hello there all you Gibberish Readers out there in cyber space! Well, I guess you might of seen, or not seen that I did not post a blog entry on Friday just gone! Truth is, I was starting up a brand new t-shirt, a funky DJ themed one to be exact. But it all went a bit pear shaped so I decided to skip ahead to my next t-shirt design until I got an idea of how to continue. And, I have to say, over the weekend I had an idea to get it back up and rolling again, the DJ tee that is. However, I have indeed been busy with my other t-shirt design. This here octopus. As you can see I have not finished the guy off yet but it is getting there piece by piece. Hopefully come tomorrow I will post the full pencil version on Facebook for you all to gaze at!

Here is the sketched version I uploaded on Facebook if you have not seen it until now!

When I am done with the whole thing and coloured, prob by Friday I will be putting it up on different t-shirt sites like Threadless and Red Bubble! Hopefully it will be put up and I can see it printed but if it doesn't I will try different places until it does! 

OK peeps, I am jetting off to finish. Thinking of a name too for my octopus! Hmmmmmmmmmmm!!

New Gibberish Tee Ideas!!

Hey there Gibberish Readers! You guys seen this image up on my Facebook recently and read my announcement? Well, if yer haven't, all I was banging on about really is I've decided to get my weird and wacky gibberish mind into gear and come up with yet another Jak Gibberish tee design!

It has been over a year now since I have started to work on my first two and now I thought is a good a time as any to come back to the game!! I am well and truly excited!!

Been thinking up some some ideas and putting my mighty HB pencil to work in sketching them up to show off to yers! So feel free to let me all know what yer think of the bastards heehee!!

First up is four sketchy rough ideas of a few tee designs and then one design I went ahead and made a bit neater! Bare in mind guys these are all rough ideas so sorry if they look kind'a crude in this stage!

I had an idea for an octopus kind of character holding with his tentacles all kinds of things and smoking a massive joint or maybe could be some sort of wizard pipe! Behind him could be some white bubbles rising up to the surface but done as if they look like paint splats!

 A fat cat mustache wearing villain riding a giant robot towering over a small dog dressed as some super hero! :P

A gas mask wearing alien robot of some kind with 6 arms DJing! Well like the idea of something written above him but I am still thinking!

Now four is a li'l more rough and incomplete but I thought of an idea of loads of old fashioned style cartoon characters all embracing some crazy old school stuff with, "I am an official old schooler" written around it! Still in the process of thinking up more for this but the idea is pretty much there!

Finally is an idea I kind'a like, which is another DJ themed cartoon. I was itching to draw this one up a bit more funkier to show off. I am not done with the sucker yet as I am adding a lot more in but here it looks so far!

 

Wow I sure am running this post into a long one so I am off-ski!! Need to go an eat something and all! Please let me know what you think of these ideas and I just love all yer feed back!

Speaker Robots Mission Satus: Complete!

Fridays rolled around and you know that that means right Gibberish readers! Oh yes, I know, a weekend is here! Yes, but besides that? Yes, I know, you get to sleep in a bit but please, apart from all that? Aaaaaaah will yer let me finish already!

OK. OK *clears throat** what this Friday also means is........ No, wait for it...... Right, this Friday means a brand new finished piece from me! Oh yes! If yer been checking out my Facebook page this week and my blog post last Friday you will know that I've been at work on a piece for a DJ/ producer duo going by the name of, Audio:Hertz. Right all, enough with the jibba jabba, here is my new Audio:Hertz piece. It might see a few odd changes here and there but me likes it so far! Agree?

Alien tees!

Here is yet another Karl Phillips and TMR inspired blog post this week guys! I've been busy converting the poster design I have drawn for them into some t-shirts all ready for their first tour around France! These guys will hopefully be selling 'em at their gigs so fingers crossed they get printed. Using only 4 colours these were fun to create and transfer into some funky tees! So, in the words of Karl himself, "Who's gunna want one of these BAD BOYYYS then?"

Well, off I go to start colouring in this illustration for Audio: Hertz so I can show you all this coming Friday! See you later gibberish readers! Toodles!!

Deadly Gaint Robotic Speakers!

Ah once again I am getting stuck into that zone again. Oh how I love that zone! Huuuuuuuuh? You shrug in confusion? Well Gibberish readers, that zone I am on about is what I like to call the gibberish zone! Once I get stuck into a piece of art work I just seem to forget everything else around me, just drawing away! I end up looking back at the clock and get shocked to see, "what? Already that time?" That is what I mean by gibberish zone! And boy do I love it! A day without being creative kind of feels like a wasted one!

So then, what do I have that is new to show off this Friday? Well, been working on a wild cartoon for the DJ duo, Audio: Hertz! You can, if you haven't already check out their stuff out by popping over to their Facebook page by clicking ======> HERE!!

This piece I thought up is them aboard a giant robot speaker armed with a plasma cannon and electronic blaster of some kind!

Because of space on the page getting filled up I think I will later add in the parts missing when I go to scan this fella in. I am always doing that though, running out of space on the page hahahah!!

Just like this here foot and side of the arm too! But will fill that in easy!

 

So then, what yer think gibberish readers of it so far? I will be inking this in tomorrow and tidying up some of it's messy pencil marks. I kept erasing parts because I had a better idea for it!
