A Gibberish Photo Shoot!

Aaaaaaaaaaw sorry guys for the lack of a post last week! Had one of those crazy weeks spending the hours here, there, and everywhere. Fam were down from Cali and left on Wednesday then off to a massive, The Dark Knight Rises viewing and then a wedding. Wonderful week but I could not get the time in. Anyway, anyway, here I am again and I got something cool to show you lot. I've been working on a photo shoot. It is a bit different than what I normally chose to get myself involved in but I've been loving it. So, here it is, my first ever photo shoot!

"100% Gibberish" in black
"Crazy about Creativity" in black
As you might of guessed by now this photo shoot is for my own t-shirts. I needed some photos to display what they would look like worn on peeps rather than just having photos of the designs spread out flat on the floor. On the website store I use at the moment there is no photos like this, just kind of photos showing just designs rather than what they look like on someone. I've just done female photos so far but I am going to do them on males too, just need to get a round to it. I have to say, thanks to my Cali cousin Lindsay and her wonderful friend, Bre these photos look great. Much love you two!

"Crazy about Creativity" in blue
"100% Gibberish" in blue

Now this here last one, 100% Gibberish in blue is a bit different to the others because of the shards of light. It's weird because I hate being inconsistent with my work but I really loved this one. I thought for the first time ever, "Ah fuck it, I am going to keep this even if it is somewhat different". I really love the effect the light has on the over all photo. Also like to point out I wanted to take these photos outside rather than in because I feel it gives a much more casual look to the whole thing, which these t-shirts are. Meant to be worn out and to have fun in. This is casual wear, something funky for the masses not damn glamour magazine time here LOL! Well guys I am out. Remember that DJ illustration I showed you last post? Well these past few days I have kind of left it and I so want to ink the thing in. Hopefully on Friday I will have it coloured in so I can show it to you all. OK my coffee cup is empty. Off to fill her up! Toodles!!

DJ cartoons and flaming skull tats!!!

Friday is here once again and I am gracing you all with another blog post update on my work! This week has been kind'a sweet with cartoons. Been doing a well good illustration which I am loving up! This weeks projects I've been scribbling is an illustration for this new DJ school starting up by the wonderful breaks duo, Leuce Rhythms! Wanna check 'em out? Well, you can do by heading down to their Facebook fan page by clicking here! Just finished today with the pencil stage, so maybe tomorrow I will start up with the inking. I tell you, once I get it all coloured I think this bad boy is gonna be sick! Here is some photos of the work so far! I've been so zoned out recently drawing this and I can not help adding more to it! LOL I guess that inking stage is going to get pushed back more and more!! But it is so exciting seeing it all come together!!

Aaah damn that reminds me, I need to go and buy some more pens as the ink on the ones I have is running low! I swear I go through ink faster than an octopus gets scared shitless!!

It's been ages since I have drawn a pair of decks I have to say. Last attempt was that Dom Almond illi I did a few years back! Oh but I love this geeza's face! I have to say, that was like mine when I was drawing this thing!!

All right guys that is the DJ illustration I've been doing but also I thought of doing some more special Second Life avatar tattoos too! But who knows, I might see if I can get these bought up by some real flash tattooist somewhere! I've been doing so many Second Life t-shirts for my store and only have one Second Life tattoo. I thought, what the hey, when I put up this new Second Life Ink Monsters t-shirt I will sell these tattoos along side!

These are two skull tat ideas I have been working on so it's only rough sketches so far! Either way though, I am digging them real bad! What do you think?

The first is better than this second one but give it time! I am sure this one too will look good! Well folks, that is me done. I am off to do some more of my website!! Oooooooooooooooooooooo I hear you say, what does that look like?!! More later peeps so keep it locked! Enjoy your Friday night, I am out!!!

Virtual Gibberish!

Hi there guys and welcome to another Friday blog post. Today it is all about the virtual world of Second Life. For those that don't know, it is a virtual world in which people can come together to meet and explore (yeah kind'a sounds weird doesn't it? But nah, in the end it's kind'a fun). The world itself feels endless with so much to do and see (and no before you say it, this isn't me shamelessly plugging the game away)! It also allows people to build, script (for all you script kiddies out there) and sell. You can build an actual business in this world which can be rather sweet! People actually earn a real living in this game, crazy huh?! I myself have a store in game known as, "House Of Gibberish!" Been building the thing up for a while now! Here I make and sell virtual versions of my real t-shirts and any other stuff I can muster up! See, kind of colourful ain't it?

Recently, well yesterday more like, I have put together a virtual t-shirt to add to my collection. Remember recently I did a t-shirt design for Qwertee called, "Ink Monsters?" Well, I thought why not make it into a Second Life version too. I have not finished it just yet but I think it is safe to say at the moment it is looking good. Also I'd like to point out that, yes, it is me in the photos, my Second Life me that is :P! Here's how the virtual pixel t-shirt's looking!

Not sure when I will finally get round to putting it up for sale, that and a tattoo design (which I will leave for another post). But it will happen soon guys!
On another Second Life note one of my other new projects I am working on is with a guy named, HEN Streeter (Second Life name). He he a Scripter in Second Life who makes wacky and crazy weapons for the game. One of his weapons is, "Z" and I illustrate all the selling vendors for them, helping to promote it all! He is bringing out a new mod for Z called, "Z Defence". I will not go into them as it will take up pages but if you like you can check out his in world store here  (if you already play Second Life) or even his Marketplace store here. Anyway, Just been inking in the first stages of the new Z Defence illustration and it's been fun! Check it peeps!

Well guys I am out to get some good old brews and enjoy this kind'a so so afternoon before it begins to rain like hell! I hope you enjoyed the read and till next time stay funky like a monkey!! Toodles!

See, I so wanted to finish it before showing you. I wanted to get it all nice and polished before publishing this here post. Well, I am glad to say here it is! Clubs 'n' Guns

Hello Friday (can not believe the week has gone so F'ing fast)!! I am here once again with yet more Mooch scribblings! These bears are great I am telling you, wild and wacky just the way I like it. It is funny though how last week I said to myself I would have everything done for the Monday gone but only now have I finished all four evil bears for Mooch! On Monday I showed you bears one and two, now here is three and four for you to feast your greasy eyes upon! Love the fat clubbing bear out of these two!

Mooch Club bear (bear 3)

Mooch Gun bear (bear 4)

But that my friends is not it, oh no!! Now I have all four of the crazy furry guys done I am whipping up a full illustration for them to feature in! I have just started so all it is at the mo is a rough, slightly neater in parts version! But it is getting there. I still need to have it all done so I can ink the baby in. Hopefully I can get to the colouring tomorrow if all goes well enough. Pleaseeeeee let it be this Monday when I can show it all in it's full glory!! So so so so so Gibberish-o-holics out there want to see it? Not much as of yet but you will soon see!! This whole illustration is like an army of angry bears with these four in the foreground and the evil shadow bear (his logo) in the back! Kind of like some dark lord movie poster or something!! Mooch told me when he saw the rough draft of it it reminded him of, The Warriors, but obviously a evil bear kind of version! I would say I have to agree! That and I would pay shit loads to see some mad F'ed up evil bear version of the film! Think of the Care Bears gone manic Bi-Polar and I think you will be half way there!!

Rough pencil stage of background (part of it)
All right guys I am off to munch down on some juicy burgers 'n' JalapeƱos washed down with my favourite bear.... I mean, beer, Desperados. All that'll be some good energy for the inking in mode later tonight!! Stay tidy y'all!!..... Toodles!!

Axe 'n' Gas!

Well, I tried to finish that big Mooch project illustration yesterday so I could get it all published. But it has actually been slower to do than I first thought. Yeah it seems like I under estimated another project once again. I always do that, ever since uni days! OK, even though I have not finished the illustration and even put this post up a day later (hoping those extra hours would really churn out something) I have finished colouring in two of the four bears anyway! It is not that much but something. I have to say though, I am actually really liking these bears all coloured in and looking sharp! They really have a lot of character to 'em! Here take a look see and tell me what yer think!!
